The first sign of a life forever changed.
The nightmare.
Clad in black. No light, no air, darkness everywhere.
Absolutely horrifying.
I awoke anxious, sad and scared. A dreadful start to her favorite holiday.
Christmas Day.
The second sign came less than 12 hours later.
Heavy snow and stubborn ice.
